Cystic Fibrosis Appeal at Northern General
This £1m Appeal is for a new regional unit to be built at the Northern General Hospital. There are no old C.F. sufferers and these young people have to go in to hospital for lengthy stays on general wards, often with very old patients. Not a good mix for anyone. The new ward will have a ‘home from home’ feel and be furnished appropriately for young people. They can continue their studies in single rooms.
