Beauchief Estate
Founded in 1895, Abbeydale Golf Club boasts an enviable position on the South West side of Sheffield bordering the Peak District National Park, and the village of Dore. The Parkland Course, is a 'MUST PLAY' for visitors, and is renowned for it's beautifully manicured appearance, undulating greens, and magnificent surroundings within the Beauchief Estate.
The Golf Course
The course was designed by the famous architect Herbert Fowler, who is also renowned for other designs including Walton Heath and The Berkshire. Fowler's design ethos of strategy and reward are apparent in the layout of the Abbeydale.
